Chem4Kids Quiz: Biochemistry

QUESTION 1:

INCORRECT
Exercise usually increases your metabolism. A fast workout won't increase it as much since it would be defined as an anaerobic workout (not needing oxygen). A longer workout (aerobic) gives the cells time to lose all of their stored energy. Your body then needs to breakdown fat and proteins and turn them into sugars. Those sugars are used for energy. That increase in the number of reactions means your metabolism is increasing.
